Double Glazing glass and houseplants

Just wondering if there are any thoughts on new double glazing and the houseplants they have on the south side of the building. Glass these days is firstly 2 pane glass which filters out more of the sun's rays than the single pane. Also newer glass is usually treated with film which filters out a lot of the sun's rays. I was wondering whether most plants can now be put on window sills on almost any aspect if you have double glazing?

Thoughts please. I'm trying a prayer plant at the moment.image

  • My plants go on the sunniest side of the house. I have double glazing and have had any problems, I just turn them round daily so they get equal light, if that makes sense

There are some house plants that do not like to go in the sun whether double-glazed or not.
