There's quite a few pics of ponds in pots, tubs, sinks, barrels etc on pinterest, great ideas. Have been thinking of having one for a couple of years now, think I might actually get round to doing it this year.
I'm not sure that an underbed crate would last very long as we have had one at the back door for washing the dog's muddy paws after a walk and it went very brittle and split after 18 months.
I love the idea of a container pond and remember there was a thread on here where someone made one with a washing up bowl which ended up looking lovely. Sorry but I can't seem to find it atm.
Thanks Star Gaze Lily, the bottom picture is the one that had inspired me, (I think its on this forum - someone did provide me with the link)
With my pond in a pot, o won't be able to put it in the ground (due to - the ground, but also if i could, my dog would be in it!) Also until i find a location that works, Since my garden is very small there is going to be alot of shuffling about to try and fit this in -I may have to ask my neightbour (who's garden is bare) is i can put it in hers and decorate her garden a little bit lol! More greenery around me the more wildlife i may get
However I do have part of the lawn that floods, I'm wondering if this would be a good natural pond, however when the water table rises what would happen then ?

I remember that one Lesley, it was lovely. Have bumped up a pond thread, but haven't looked through it, so not sure I've got the right thread.
I managed to find the one I meant, titled 'even a micro pond helps and bumped it up. We can never have enough ponds to look at
Heres a couple from pinterest.
I love the top one but it looks expensive and perhaps a bit 'stylish' to fit in my jumbled garden
