Looks like iris foetidissima to me.

I've got one of those and it took me ages to find out what it was. The latin name is much nicer than the common name of stinking iris. It should have pretty pale grey/yellow flowers in the spring.
Don't let the seeds drop unless you want them appearing absolutely everywhere. I have spent 3 years trying to get rid of them.
