I get my OH to ring round for prices every time we need oil, and we always come back to the same firm, but they have started charging an extra percentage for credit card sales. Bad news, but on the other hand they don't ask to be paid immediately!
I used to find when I had a wood burner that I could rarely get anywhere near it for the pile of dogs and cats sprawled everywhere in front of it. My daughter has a log burner at one end of their cottage and an Aga at the other so her dogs are more spread out so even the humans mostly all get a share of the hot spots.
Welshonion, my OH always gets a quote for heating oil from Boilerjuice.com and then phones our usual supplier to ask if they will match it - so far they've always been willing to do so.
Poor tanker driver arrived at the refinery at 5.30 am then had to wait until the lab was open so they could add the red dye. Made three deliveries before he arrived with us. All topped up now. Let it snow if it dares!
Oh, excellent! Just checked with Boilerjuice and not only would it have been more expensive per litre but they quoted for delivery in January. I had delivery within 24 hours! I'll stick with my usual supplier.

Fair enough! We've never actually used Boilerjuice to get oil just as a lever to get our usual supplier to cut their initial quote.
