    Ground was frozen here in the NW this morning and no shiny thing in the sky all day just dark cloud and light rain. 

    Must get some thick socks to wear with my wellies, I'm tempted with the heated insoles though image

    I would buy today socks that really are as warm as advertised either by assistant or wrapping,they never are and as im now getting nearer to the stage of oveltine at nite i need warm feet in the garden not blocks of ice,sock makers read this please, and im not going back to tights like when I was working underground  in the winter boy was that cold or wot Warm socks please,,,,image suns gone,  raining again erein Muns N.     Fur lined wellies may be the way forward Alan.  If you don't like the tights look you could go for pop socks under the inadequate socksimage

    Milder as forecast here today, cloudy and a bit windy. Sun is supposed to be out this afternoon. Might get in a couple of hours if Sunday lunch isn't weighing me down too much by then. image

  • You need wool socks, they will keep your little tootsies warm and toasty.
