Forum home The potting shed

my deleting ?

I go to the oldest page and I tick the box   and then click on delete etc  but it is deleting the wrong ones . I found that my latest ones , some I had only just received had gone.

I just cannot follow this, is anyone else having problems.

I only want to delete them as I have Sapporo many!

Not sure it's necessary though - does it get full after a while and need clearing?

  • I think you can only see 10 pages worth of messages - once they're full the rest go into some unseen pages - if you delete some of the later ones then the earlier ones reappear.  I think that's how it works image

Ah, thanks. Might be worth doing then. When this year's seed swap came round I had to ask for addresses that were in there somewhere but had fallen off the end

  • Hm, not going to do that again - deleted some from page 10 and some of my most recent PMs disappeared - just like Cangran said.  I'm just going to leave them alone from now on.
