apple id

Just had an Apple, When I shook it the pips inside rattled. I cannot think what the variety is called, is it coxan Orange pipping?

    Hearing pips rattle when you shake an apple just means that the apple is ripe. 

    Doesn't necessarily mean it's a Cox's Orange Pippin.

    Yes, it is a method of telling if Cox's Orange Pippin is ripe. Don't know any other apple that does it so well.
