Creating Privacy

Hi there

My front garden is in desperate need of some privacy, to block the view of the road and nosy passers by.

It is a reasonably sized front garden, with drive and we have a 4ft wall running along the public pavement.

I would really like a nice big flowering hedge or something. Approx 9/10ft tall.

The area is sunny but only once the plant grows higher than the wall.

Any suggestions much appreciated!

    Katb2  you dint say how busy the road is, is there likely to be a pollution risk?

    i agree with everything Verdun says but might add some Ribes and forsythia for spring colour and maybe rosa rugosa for beautiful flowers and gorgeous hips image
