Yes. Give me one of those. As Hollie Hock said, anything but snow.

We have had lots of rain in the West country, my farmer partner says its mainly due to bad farming and concrete, hence the run off.  When we saw the footage on local TV we were amazed to see all the pictures of trees in full leaf and lots of flowers! half of the footage was from last summer!

  • At long last it's stopped raining so managed to inspect the borders this morning that have been underwater for the last 2 days and was surprised to see that some Tete a Tete daffs have sprouted I hope they don't rot off as they are still in the water and I hope that it drains away before these frost's come if indeed they do,  oh no here comes the rain againimage

  • signs of spring? I just seen today sweet peas in flower in some ones garden, the everlasting variety.image

  • According to Sky News  there's a bad weather front heading this way with heavy snow and temperatures of -6c or colder,  it's been named by someone "The Beast from the East" it's the East coast that's going to get hit North and South due so they say about Wednesday so fill your shelves and get the milk in as you could get snowed in or you could take it with a pinch of salt !

The Met Office website speaks of wintry weather but it doesn't talk about anything horrendous - our winter weather usually blows straight in from the Urals so nothing unusual there.
