LAWNFLITE MOWERS
in Talkback
Hi
I bought a Lawnflite LF43spbr rear roller petrol from World of Mowers just over 12 months ago, the quality is the worst I have ever come across, the machine has broken down 4 times, mostly through the poor engineering, cables, clutch, accelerator and blade to engine boss's (2), I have asked Wofm for my money back as it is NOT fit for purpose, they have chosen to ignore me to date. Lawnflite have also referred the problem back to W of m and made no comment of their poor machine. Incidentally the Brigs & Stratton engine is top notch. Andy Hardy

It sounds to me as if you should contact CAB with a view to reporting the problem to Trading Standards http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/england/consumer_e/consumer_protection_for_the_consumer_e/protection_trading_standards_e/reporting_a_problem_to_trading_standards.htm
We purchased a lawnflite ride on. The battery went after 18 months of very light use. We were told that it was our fault for not turning over the engine on a weekly basis throughout the winter. Funny that I didn't recall the salesman telling me about this when I purchased it!
