Shrub id please

i saw this shrub covered in berries which, at first, looked like snow berry then I saw that the berries were splitto reveal an orange berry-like bulge. Shrub has glossy largish leaves like camellia or laurel but cannot find on the Internet. Can anyone help please?

    Looks like a euonymus, maybe E, japonicus

    I'll have a poke on google images and check if there are other species similar

    There are other similar ones but in a garden in the UK that is the most likelyimage
