Can someone help ID these 2 small flowers.

Hi, I have a couple of small flowers that I'd like help in ID'ing. I took these pic's a few weeks ago. Both plants came from a box of mixed seed. The first I thought might be some kind of silene, but the leaves don't seem right. In fact, the leaves look like a euphorbia.

The second looks like baby blue eyes but the flower buds have a five-sided sceptre-like shape and below the flower petals is a star-like leaf arrangement with very distinct hairs on the leaves.

I think you're right about the silene. S.armeria maybe

I don't know the other one

The second looks like Agrostemma githago (corncockle).

Thanks Nutcutlet I think you might be right about that one. I've found one image of it that has identical leaves. Still checking to make sure.

Thanks DW, I can understand why you thought this might be a corncockle, but if I remember correctly from all the others I've had in the garden this year, they have a cylindrical flower bud rather than this deep-sided sceptre-like bud.

Also the distinctive stripes on the petals are missing (although there appear to be very faint ones), and to me this plant is more blue rather than the deep pinks and purple of the corncockle.
