Do you know what variety it is?

    hi dovefromabove

i cant remember the name of them, but they are the trailing type!!!

If trailing, they're likely to be cherries or something similar, so don't expect large toms. If the weather is warm enough they will end up the same size.

thanks italophile, i thought they would have ripened by now, but they look healthy so i will just see how they go

  • Outdoor toms ahve really srtuggled this year. I ended up throwing mine away as there was no way they would produce anything, all my plants on the allotment got blight. The only ones that did any good were in the greenhouse. Try again next year.

lynne, you need warmth for them to ripen, not necessarily direct sunlight. Anything above low-20sC is optimum. The lower you go, the longer they will take.
