Help with plant id

Has anyone got any ideas what plant this is growing in a mixed hedge. Thanks Darren.

    It's Viburnum rhytidophyllum. Watch out for itchy little hairs down your neck if you crawl underneath

    V. rhytidophyllum's a lovely plant. It looks best with something planted at the base to hide the bare stems which tend to develop. Here's a nice example at Iford Manor:

     Before I saw it growing  like that I always thought of it as a scruffy thing for planting round the back of multistorey car parks etc!

    I love it. Mine is still clothed to the ground so doesn't need underplantingimage
