I didn't know Monty's dog was called Nigel. Golden Retrievers are such a delight, an outstanding nature, delightful looks as well. I have had five over the years. Mine has just starting picking and eating runner beans from the pots. Annoying, but I will refrain from telling her off!

Which is why I bracketed 'again'.  image and I had the pleasure of seeing it. image

  • I think "gardeningfantic" and David K" are well out of order, picking like that on Nigels' dad. Wait till he hears about this........WOOF, WOOF!!

But I like you both as you make me smile, Beeba.image

  • Great to see that others are enjoying this series so much.  A longer programme would be brilliant but of course, it takes time to put it all together.  It would be good to have an occasional programme during the winter too.  There's always something to talk about and to look at.  I'm sure Nigel wouldn't mind the cold on occasions!  Doesn't everyone agree?

  • yes, love the new series.I like montys garden( and nigel ) it seems to be off on much better footing and format.

  • Yes I agree it would be good to have a few GW in the winter.  When the weather is cold and wet and us gardeners cannot get outside it would be good to be able to sit down and watch a gardening programme.  Even showing a few repeats would be good, maybe some from the days of  Geoff Hamilton and Alan Titchmarsh.  They repeat everything else so why not GW.

Oh yes it would be amazing to see old ones in the winter. I remember the end of the Alan Titchmarsh ones & loved them.

Geoff Hamilton would be great too as he was before my gardening times.

  • image Never mind everything else (excluding Nigel of course) but I would give my eye teeth to have my sweetpeas growing like MD's. Mine are looking VERY sad indeed.

Nigel is becoming quite a star.....hogging the camera too much lately......more, more please. Only an hour long programme will do, I trhink!
