Meadowsweet

I'm thinking of buying some seeds and trying to grow some in my boggy area. Does anyone know if they're easy to grow?

Don't try to sow the seeds directly in the boggy area as they will be overwhelmed. Sow them in a seed-bed or in trays as you would any seeds.

Thank you Welshonion,I have plenty of pots image

Nut - its basically a strip on the far side of the pond, about 18 inches to 2 feet wide and maybe 15 feet long? Will it get too bossy like the carex pendula do you mean? I've already got ragged robin, water avens and perhaps some snake head fritillaries planned. Have got common rush and fibre-optic grass in already. Did think of sowing some Monkshood in there too. A bit overcrowded? The soil isn't wet, more sort of very moist.

15 feet long should be enough to fit a few things in. I'll PM you

Meadowsweet is lovely. In medieval times they used to strew the floors with as it smells so fragrant.
