Yew Topiary ~ lime damage
Hello...wonder if anyone has any suggestions. as to what to do to heal/save my yew topiary tree; it's about a metre and a half tall...and got drenched for about a week in a lovely lime mortar mix, whist the builders did some re-pointing.
Area's where no lime was dropped is really fine...but those sections which did got some are just bare and no leaves left at all.
Just thought I'd ask the question and see what you think I can do to assist.
Thank

If it were mine I'd wait and see what happens when new growth starts next year. It may be that just the leaves have been burnt and the stems are Ok. If it doesn't regrow you'll have to cut back to healthy growth and reshape your topiary.
I assume you've already hosed off any remaining lime mortar
