orchid compost

Hi, I have tiny pin head type mushrooms appearing in my orchid compost. Are they a problem to myslef or the orchid? Should I remove them? If so what is the best way to do this please? These are orchids which have been resting for a while and are just starting to flower again.

    They shouldn't be doing any harm, but your compost may be a little too wet. Try easing up on the watering a little and they should vanish.
