Plant ID Help

It's sort of a green leaved, thick stemmed plant. Apart from that I'm stumped on what it could be, haha..

    It's a brassica of some kind, possibly a young 'walking stick' cabbage (Jersey kale) although rather small for that.  Was it growing in amongst other plants?  If so, possibly from dropped birdseed - I get a lot of brassicas in my borders from that.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    It looks like one of those cabbages that comes in a bunch of flowers.
