Stinging Nettles in lawn

How do you get rid of stinging nettles in lawns? I love walking bare foot on grass and they ventured onto the lawn when it was neglected for two years.

    Use a selective weedkiller for treating broad-leaf weeds like dandelions- it will not harm the grass- or apply a feed and weed formulation

    I have been looking into feed & weed to geen up my lawn, I'm starting to feel proud of it. 8 months ago it was a meadow and a mole paradise!
