I love the way you have the pond gradually merging into the planted area FG,it really does look so natural. It was something I was aiming for but couldn't think of a way to minimise exposed liner. The tree stump looks like it should be there and blends in so well. What sort of irises do you have and what are the other plants?

Oh and what's the climber at the back? So many questions image Ponds really are special aren't they...I've had woodpigeons drinking from mine too and a gang of Starlings yesterday. Now if only I saw a frog, that would really make my day.

Well done FG - now for those marginals image

  • I really like that Fairygirl - it's very artistic. All the wood, the large stones and the stump make me think of the seaside.image

My cat Juba helped me acquire another frog for my pond yesterday. He must have stolen it from someone else's garden. I confiscated it, gave it a once over and secreted it into my own pond. Hopefully next time he'll bring me a yellow pigmy waterlilyimage
