cuttings question

Here are some coreopsis cuttings I took this summer . They`ve all rooted well ,but I`m worried that they`re all leggy, can I re-pot them lower next time ,or will that be harmful to the plants ? The parent plant has been really special this summer ,and I would hate to loose it this winter . Thanks Wendy.

I should think they'll die back in winter and start from the base next year. You can pinch them back as they grow

  • Thank you both for your replies ,would you pot them on now ,or leave until later .Thanks Wendy .

I'd leave them unless they're pot bound. Edd?

  • Thanks Edd and Nut , I have been guilty of over watering , will heed your advice ,thanks Wendy .

I think more plants die of over watering than they do of under wateringimage
