Pixie-Lott & Trent's waltz was dance of the evening for me.....'Come away with me', always a great music choice for a waltz. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBKcKQHZXks and didn't Hayley Sanderson sing it well?
Eastender's Jake put in another fantastic performance too.
Gregg the veg man has got to go.....all that mucking about with cream cakes ..does he think he's in the Laurel & Hardy show?
Still Caroline and Pasha for me she will be there at the end, Jake and Janette great yet something about him I do not like, Pixie and Trent plus Frankie and Kevin definite
To go cake stuffing and Irish eye's but the great British public? well no telling how they will vote, not with the feet that is for sure.
Today the family were here scoffing all my biscuits and tea whilst I was engrossed watching video of my two youngest grandchildren doing the dance exams, Matthew 13 one foot fault in three dances, Hannah 10 her instructor made the foot fault and Hannah never missed a beat whilst the instructor recovered, wonderful to watch as they follow my footsteps or should that be dance steps.
Frankie was great, Jake and the guy from'Blue' was good too. So was Alison and Caroline.
Veg man and Mrs Murray should go.......please. Really don't understand the cake or tennis messing about stuff. Well I know its cos they can't dance but......well you know.
....I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when they were planning that 'cake' routine.
It must have gone something like this: we will include a huge cream cake with strawberries on top into our routine - during the dance you will put the cake on the judges table - then, ta-da, for a finale you will stick your face in it - mustn't leave it there after the dance, we must take it upstairs and make idiots of ourselves there too.
Err cannot dance what shall we do? Aliona bake a cake, Gregg ! Cannot cook I am a green grocer ! Aliona OK you prance about like a gooseberry at the Cheddar Strawberry fair, I will get the cake says she with a demonic look in her eye. I know we will do Craig, Floor manager, you do and we will turn Master Chef into Dancer Chef be warned. Some idiot, I know stick your slobbering chops in it at the end of the farce and they will all want a bit. They discover the Strawberries are sprouts painted red. Goodnight children everywhere, do not have nightmares after watching this.
I suppose behind the comfort of our keyboards is easy for us to criticize, but surely these people must know that they will make complete idiots of themselves....at least in the dance-off, he spared us the cream cake head-butting.
As for Aliona, she is my favourite professional and I think is the first time I've seen her treat her 'celebrity' partner with complete indifference......perhaps she did tell him to stick his head into the cake.
Having said that, I think that considering it is only week two, there is at least six couples with remarkable talent.

Love Jake's dance tonight, but more importantly who is going to win Bake Off! My money is on Richard the builder, SEVEN!
Missed Strictly
Went to see OH sing in a concert and he said he would record it and he forgot. I haven't mastered the complicated machine yet.

That's how saw it too, Lily.....and yes, oh dear, those cream cake & tennis props were so cringeworthy.
