New to gardening so after some advice please. What can I plant now that will survive the winter? Just fruit or veg that is quite easy??

You can plant raspberries,strawberries most fruit now for a crop next year, spring cabbage can go in now as well, onions,garlic as well. All will crop next year.
onions and garlic can go in really late (like December) but I prefer to plant them between Halloween and bonfire night.
you've also go overwintering broad beans and peas, and if you go to a good garden centre they'll have overwintering cabbages.
