Hi there how can i get rid of whitefly from my African violets, i thought that you cant wet the leaves, i,ve only got spray. HELP.

    You are right in saying you shouldn't wet the leaves but you can use an insect spray on them . I' ve had mine for several years and have had the odd infestation and had to resort to a quick spray. Are you growing them in the right conditions ? It suggests to me that they may be a bit too dry. African violets like a humid condition and I always water from underneath using a trough and letting them take up as much water as they need . Make sure you isolate the plant . Good luck.

    Thanks very much jean very helpfull,i was worried about leaves but i have done what you advised hope its cured. I to water and feed my plants in the same way you described also they are very near kitchen sink so plenty of humid air,thanks again.
