Should I use rock salt to kill weeds
Our front garden was covered with a porous membrane and covered in pea shingle about 5 years ago. We seem to be getting lots of weeds growing which are easy to pull out, but it it still a pain to keep on top of it. I don't want to use chemicals to kill the weeds. I have read that rock salt is a good weedkiller, but I don't want to kill our neighbour's grass which is only separated from our gravel by a line of bricks. Is this likely to happen if I use it on our gravel?
