I have decking outside my back door too and does get slippy but just have to be careful I guess.  Also have gravel paths which I love. Nice to mix and match image

  • So how do you keep the gravel in place, sounds like I am talking about a naughty child.

    Thanks Beanus mum.

Sorry just looked back on your pics and see what you mean now about how to keep in place image So I'm guessing if you did have decking you would lay on top of the slabs? I was was thinking you was gonna take the slabs up so thought you could take em up and relay leaving gaps in between where the gravel would sit which would look lovely but hard work unless you have someone with muscles and an angle grinder to cut the flags.  If you don't want to do this you could take out the odd flag completely and gravel the whole square space left

Guess it depends the style of garden you like, ie modern, cottagey etc image
