strange fruit

I have a Victoria plum minarette, and checking it today I noticed some of the fruit have these clear orbs. I might think it was sap-they come from the point where the fruit attaches, but some had a few arranged almost like they were eggs, and the bigger ones almost have a ‘seam’. I’d almost think they were snail eggs but I thought they would be below ground. Any ideas?

Looks like the sap one gets when a Plum moth larva has entered/exited the fruit.
