Flower seeds

I have just discovered a packet of Forget me not seeds that expire in 2015 and I see they only flower the following year.

Could I sow them under glass now and say in the autumn or next spring plant them out?

    Yes you can.

    ...And then they will self seed like crazy. I pull the plants out just before they have finished flowering and they have, by then, dropped enough seed to grow next year.image

    Also, thanks to Artjak, too. Shall I sow the plantlets out in the autumn or next spring?
