Rose Id
in Plants
I would like to Id these two roses if possible . They are both well grown , and have been in the garden for years .The second rose is a very beautiful rose , very fragrant and will flood the garden with its scent in the evenings . Its grown to about 6 feet in height , and has hardly any barbs on the branches.
The top rose is a robust plant ,grows to about 7feet high ,flowers profusely twice in the year , no scent to speak of and is full of thorns , terrible to tidy up .but well worth the pain . Hope its not an impossible ask ,Thank you , Wendy.

Didn`t have success when I first posted this last year, hoping for better luck this time .Thanks Wendy .
Sorry don't recognise them, but you could try the David Austin website, very descriptive and lots of pictures. Lovely roses
Another site which may help is http://classicroses.co.uk/ which has a very helpful search facility on the left hand side.

Thanks everybody ,will follow your suggestions , would love to identify the top rose , it`s so lovely with loads of scent ,especially in the evening , Wendy .
Hi Wendy, let us know if you do find out
scented and thornless sounds great and I can see looks beautiful
The top one looks like Queen Elizabeth. I have one I inherited that grows 6 ft tall.
Hello again , I`ve looked at your suggestions and have decided the top light pink rose is Logan`s suggestion Celeste . It seems to tick all the boxes , colour ,leaves scent and thornless . Fidgets`s Queen Elizabeth comes very close but from the description it doesn`t quite fit . Thank you all for your interest . Wendy .
