You needanother apple tree to go with the Braeburn,
a list here, http://www.orangepippintrees.co.uk/pollinationchecker.aspx?v=1008
conference is self fertile but is said to do better with another
see here, http://www.orangepippintrees.co.uk/pollinationchecker.aspx?v=2027
ditto Vics,

I've grown Conference as the only pear and got a crop, the Vics had other plums and I've never grown Braeburn.
no room for any more trees----might have to cut them down, but i'll give them another year maybe--thanks
What about those little step over apples? You don't need a big one.
I have a similar problem with my Maynard Cherry, it's supposed to be self fertile, but we're yet to see any fruit.
I shall try pollinating it by hand next year....make like the bees
Hi Iain it would be good to have im told a crab apple to pollinate as it seems to be an all rounder almost for pollination,a dwarf stock would do.
