I know this is Not Phytolacca Americana but what is it ? Please anyone.
Don't know sorry Maharg, but you look very familiar
Hi Lily,.When I first saw this I thought it was Pokeroot or Phytolacca Americana but there is some difference. I hope some body knows what it is.
It's a phytolacca, maybe not americana, hard to tell from the picture and I don't know the other species well enough. There are 2 distinct plants around that come labelled P.a. The differences are in the leaves, one has pale, almost white, veining.
Welcome Maharg......you do look familiar, does your thread title relate to your avatar as well as the plant?
I quite like Prada but I'm not a devil
I'm wondering if Red John is still thriving eh Jane
Or is Graham?
It could be P. esculenta which is the other one most commonly met with in Britain.
If he's thriving.....I'll give it a year.
Bet its driving you mental not knowing what it is
Yes Lily your right it is , and it does , and I'm still not sure that Phytolacca is right, But Berghill You may be right I'll have to look at the Black berries.
That is definitely a Phytolacca and it is the spitting image of the one I have which came as esculenta.
I agree, no doubt at all it's a phytolacca.
Why do you think it isn't Maharg?
