What to do?

Hi as I'm not a great gardener.......keen but learning all the time by mistakes!

Could someone tell me please, I have potted fuschia, do I prune them? Also the top part of a young apple tree has gone brown, then a foot above looks normal, what do I do??

I don't understand the apple question. If the top part is brown, where's the bit that looks normal.

The fuschia-this is where it becomes tricky- it may -depending on variety need to be bought under cover if it is not hardy-again it may or may not need pruning now-there are thousands of varieties of fuschia-do you have a name for this one?

    And what size pot?

Are the fuschias hardy or half hardy? I imagine half hardy as they are in pots. If so, they need to be in a frost free place in winter. If they are young plants, no need to prune in autumn. If 2 years or older you can prune off the top third to keep them neat.
