    Looks like an alkanet possibly

  • I think it could be an Anchusa?

    I think anchusa,image

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • I've been pouring over Anchusa images and I think you could be right Potsandpansies - maybe leptophylla but can't find the exact flower.

I looked at alkanet Pete8 but I don't think the leaves are quite right. Trouble is all the Borage flowers are similar and the images of leaves online are a bit rubbishimage

    Thanks for the repliesimage

    Anchusa, definitely not borage.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • I was looking at some 'honeybee flower' mixed seeds today that I didn't know and came across this plant Cynoglossum Amabile, Chinese Forget Me Not.

Could it be that and not Anchusa? I haven't been doubting, I'd forgotten about it until I saw the images.

I believe it is also Boraginaceae family...
