Help identify my flower please :)

Hi all! In the field where I walk my dog I am always overwhelmed by the scent of some lovely flowers. They grow at the edge of a brackish bit of field. The stems are red and intertwined, with green leaves and one of these flowers on the top. I've been a bit naughty today and picked one (there's plenty so I'm sure they'll survive!). Here's some pictures, I hope you can tell from them what it is. If not I'll have to dig out my camera and go take some proper ones!
