Azalea disease
Hi
We have an Azalea growing in a pot on the porch and have had it for 6 months...sorry no idea of the variety. It has developed a white fungus on some of the outer leaves and main stem (sorry no pictures). The leaves appear to swell up and the fungus sometimes resembles a white hollowed out insect nest. Any ideas? We didnt pot the plant and I was thinking the soil may be too limey!?

Brycey, any chance of a pic? I think the plant may have woolly aphid, if so, it can be treated with a systemic insecticide.
It could be this Brycey
