I have a small patch 10ft x 8ft which I need to seed, can I do this at this time of the year. We live in Kent which has mild winters normally. As I write this the sun is shining directly onto he patch. If this is possible is there a certain seed that is recommended?

    Forget it -wait now until April when the soil is warm enough-optimum times are then and September-seed germinates fairly quickly and watering is kept to a minimum

    Sowing now is a waste of time.money and effort-sorryimage
