I noticed this plant today. Is anyone able to tell me what it is. Don't think it is a solidago, but maybe ?

Possibly Solidago Golden Rod. Looks as though it is about to flower.
ah that would make sense i thought i'd ug it up but it seems to be cropping up everywhere. thank you.
