Does Anyone Know What This Flower Is?

Forester2Forester2 Posts: 1,477

It is the blue flower I was wanting to be identified - is it flax?  The group of people

I was with hadn't got a clue.  Sorry the blue flower isn't very clear but I only took the picture because I thought it looked pretty.

Think it's rosebay willowherb.  Does look pretty at the roadside.

Hard to pick out but I think chicory is most likely

Bekkie and Nut - I think you are right.  I have just looked at pictures of flax and chicory to compare and the flower is more like chicory.  It was in a farmers field and apparently it is grown as fodder for animals.  Thank you.image

If it's as tall as rosebay WH it's chicory. flax is much shorter
