Coprosma Pacific Sunset

Has anyone heard of this small bush, my sister in law had one but I cant find it. Its very eye catching. Its evergreen with variegated foliage small leaves  of dark green, yellow and orange

    Not that particular variety, no.

    I don't think they're very hardy, I failed to get one through the winter on an unheated GH. They might like soil a bit less alkaline than mine as well

    I've never had much luck with them ,I've a feeling they have another name too. I did wonder about taking cuttings  to get them through the winter but the  original shrub didn't make it.

  • A google search shows that crocus.co.uk have it. Says a little about it too.

    I have one and I love it! The colouring on the leaves this year was fantastic, and I actually got some small flowers. I did lose a couple of stems to frost when I first got it, but it seems ok now. I don't think I've ever given it any special treatment over winter.

    ...gorgeous foliage on these.... I grew Pacific Night.... it didn't survive the first winter...  next time I must try harder..lol...
