Courgette 'Parador F1 Hybrid' surprising!

I've grown courgettes for years, but this year I'm growing Parador for the first time - a yellow courgette.  What is surprising me is that we have virtually no male flowers, loads of female flowers all of which are producing useable sized courgettes (in this weather"!)  which have not been fertilised.

 Is anyone else growing this variety or have you had experience of them in the past?

Butternut squash but tiny, no flowers yet (flippin' weather).  Nothing else likely to fertilise them and next door's courgettes aren't flowering yet.  No other veg patches nearby either.

I have two Parador plants in a raised bed, both are behaving exactly the same and each of them have three 11cm courgettes with the flowers still attached, and we ate four the same size a few days ago.  The first male flower has opened today.

I tried this one a few yrs back & was disappointed. For some reason decided to try it again this year & it's doing quite well. This is considering that 2 out of 4 in total courgette plants have been completely eaten, so any fruit I get is a bonus! The green one next to it isnt as prolific this year. Seem to be getting 50/50 female/male flowers on Parador, despite the lack of sun up here this year. J.

Well, something's fertilising them!

Unless, of course, you have a case of - ahem - Virgin Birth.
