Jersey Tiger Moths

I discovered a Jersey Tiger Moth enjoying my deep purple Buddleia  today.  Looking in my field guide where I note yearly visits of , butterflies and moths that need identification I see that we also had one in the garden last year also but not before. In the past we have seen  Scarlet Tigers  in fact a whole host of them were drying their wings  on a new patio wall we were having built some years ago ,quite a sight to see!We had a few visit earlier on in the year too. My husband has also seen a Cinnabar moth in the last few days, our garden is full of many plants that butterflies enjoy, this year we have had many small tortoishells  visit our pink Hebe bush in the garden where they all congregate, every day we see at least 15-20of them are on it at one  time . We haven't seen any Red Admirals yet, a few Peacocks and so far a small number of Cabbage Whites on our vegetable plot
