    Just had an idea, what about violas, the elegant natural ones with pretty pastel colurs and scent? Ive got a white horned violet i had from crocus years ago, really tough but very pretty, intend to collect seed image

    Forgot to say RM, have taken a sort of cutting from my lilac bush for you, it did have a tiny bit of root so im hoping it will be ok, a little too early to tell yet, so keepin fingers crossed image

    Thank you all of you, yes, I love periwinkle, it hasn't t done well in my front garden...I have a purple violet that self seeds everywhere, loads of foliage, only 1 or 2 flowers, usual story in my garden, thanks re lilac bekkieimage
