Beth Alpha mini cumcumbers

Hi

I planted mini- cues - Beth Alpha.

I now have a prolific amount of plants and trying to keep them under control in the potting shed.

The leaves are huge and have many cumcumbers staring to emerge

Do i 'stop' these plants by pinching out them main growing stem or is that detrimental to the plant

I was also thinking of keeping them in the current pots but putting some outside, I live in west of scotland. Is that sensible?

They are indoor cucumbers. I pinched out the tops of my cucumbers when they reached the top of the cane
