Bug House


I have one of those little ladybird/lacewing winter homes and wandered if anyone could tell me where to position it so insects get maximum benefit in the colder months

    I don't think it is vital- I had one of those given to me a few year ago -just attached it at a fence panel 4 foot from the ground-I seem to remember seeing them on GW with TB around the same height.

  • Mine is about 2ft off the ground, south facing and I'm pleased to report that I saw two bees using it when I was in my garden earlier. Woo hoo
