Can anyone help me identify this plant?

 Hi could somebody help me to identify this plant, I purchased it in seed form from a seller on ebay approx 2 years ago but this is the first time it has flowered and I have never seen anything like it before. Many thanks for your time, debi

    How lovely - they're biennial/perennial so they do take two years to flower - they're not terribly long lived but they may well survive and flower a couple more years and hopefully they will seed themselves around the garden so you'll have new plants growing - watch out for them next year, learn to identify the seedlings so you can weed around them and give them space so they'll grow well.

     There are lots of different colour variations and as weejenny says, they smell gorgeous.  They also last well as a cut flower.
