fuchsias slow to flower


Some of my fuchsias bought has plugs in the spring are still yet to flower. The cheap ones are bought are in full bloom?

Any thoughts

    I would cut each branch back to a strong node to encourage new growth, also dont put them in full sun,grow them on in light sun or partial shade.Feed them with a fertiliser with fairly high nitrogen content ie Miracle grow to encourage the new growth.Hope this helps.

    Once I did cuttings from fuschia and sure they didn't flower in first year so maybe they are too young? Like you my cheap fuschias are coming out lovely now but they were brought last year image
