Replacement Plant
Hello Everyone,
I am after your suggestions on what I could replace my Sweet Pea's with in the following picture. As you can see they are in a tub which is approx 60cm wide but I would like to replace them with some more permanent planting. The tub gets Sun from about mid - morning to early evening.
As you can see the tub is 'blocking' the gap between my GH and Confier Hedge and I added the Sweet Peas to act as a bit of a screen, however as you can see they're not looking too great and I'm thinking of taking them out to allow something else to become more established by Winter.
Ideally I would like something Evergreen so that it can obstruct the view of the gap all year round, of course I am not expecting it to be as tall as Sweet Pea's, even just half the height of the GH would do I'm also open to the idea of using multiple plants to add colour and interest, so all suggestions are welcome. I have a few ideas tinkering around in my brain but it'd be nice to see what everyone else thinks.
I am going out tomorrow so can make a detour to the GC Apolgoies for the picture's they haven't come out very well.

Hi ngcards
I would cheat and put a obelisk in it to give the instant height and partial screen and the plant something in like a climbing rose and something evergreen entwined too
I like the bamboo wrap around the pot
If you get time ngcards please could you pop on the star of your front garden thread as know people were asking about the lovely rose you shared with us Thank you x
Thanks also for your tip, definitely worth considering an obelisk!
You're welcome and thank you Look forward to seeing your final decision
Omg pansyface how observant are you! I'm gonna be very careful when I post any future pics
I can get round the GH to clean the windows from the other side so it shouldn't obstruct me doing that I do trim the hedge but the last time I did that was last year.
lol it'l be getting a clean inside and out when my Tomatoes inside are finished.
Don't be sorry pansyface made me laugh and then worry but have double checked my pics and all ok pheeew!
lol
Thanks for the suggestions Verdun I do rather like the purple of the Berberis the most, all the other suggestions look good too.
