does anyone know if Coprosma Porto Red is frost tolerant and can I prune it
I don't think Coprosmas are frost tolerant. I can't keep them in a cold greenhouse through the winter.
Thanks for the info, I will bring mine indoors, do you know if I can prune it as it looks rather untidy and straggly not as compact as when I bought it 6 months ago
I've never kept one alive long enough to prune it. I don't think I'd interfere with a non hardy shrub at this time of year though.
I think you may be right although now I have it indoors in the conservatory, I may trim it a little when it becomes acclimatised, what do you think?
