Natural Weed killers?
Hey All,
Just wondering it there is any more natural way to kill off weeds that have populated our lawn without resorting to chemicals? The area is where my dogs may walk so I looking for two reasons really.
With thanx in advance.

Natural and without chemicals is tricky-I have kept dogs for 40 years and they have never been affected by anything I may have used in the garden-if it is applied in accordance with the instructions.
However leaving that aside salt-which is a chemical-works on broadleaf weeds like dandelions-vinegar I have heard people use-or you just have to dig them out.
For weeds on paths etc., use a flame gun
They say the chemicals used now are more user friendly. The weedkiller I use is safe as soon as its dry
Thanx guys - I dont like the idea of chemicals either so its not just the dogs.
Mainly I have a LOT of huge white daisies (2 foot tall) that have completely taken over the lawn.
Also some very small evergreen leafy ground cover plant - no idea what it is at all but it took over when the grass died off one very hot summer.
